Well Cubs,
 
School is starting back up and it is only right that Cub Scouts also gears  
up for the school year. We had a great summer full of summertime activities 
and  our fall will be even better.
 
Our Back to School Night Signup will  be on August 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the 
BESIC.  We will be having all our Cub Scout meetings at BESIC this year as it 
has a  bigger space, lunch tables so everyone can sit down, and better 
parking than  BESPC. Popcorn Kernel Dave will be coming to your classrooms on 
Tuesday, August  25 to get boys excited about Cub Scouts.
 
As part of our Back to School Night Signup we are hosting an ALL PACK and  
NEW CUBS and FAMILIES to a Back to the Pack Bowling  Party on Saturday, 
August 29 from 11:00 -  1:00  Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence. We have reserved 10 
 full lanes for our party. Boys, brother, sisters, moms, dads, aunts, 
uncles,  cousins, grandmas and grandpas are all welcome to come and bowl. 
Attached is a  flyer telling how you can sign up. The deadline for registration has 
been  extended to Sunday August 23 for returning  Cubs and their families. 
Based on this we will get an idea whether 10 lanes will  be enough. Be sure 
to reserve your spot by signing up.
 
This year promises to be a GREAT year. It will be loaded with FUN, FUN,  
FUN. Parent's may also learn to sing "God Bless My Underwear"
