David,

Our end of year tournament bracket just came out. We play Thursday at 7:45
and I will be unable to attend Thursdays meeting.

I have leaders forms to turn into someone for Camp Naish. Who do I give
those to?

Subject: [cubscouts] Summertime Pack Activities

Hello Cub Scouts and Cub Scout Parents:

I hope you are having a great summer so far. Thankfully it hasn't been too
hot, but it has been a tad bit wet. Who cares, we are Cub Scouts and weather
never stopped us from having fun.

I am getting ready to head to Georgia on a church mission trip and don't
have time to write a Cub Scout Shout! right now. However, I do want to
convey to you some Summertime Pack Activities you may want to enjoy. If you
find out another Scout does not get this e-mail, please let them know of the
activities. Because of some of the scheduling we are going to use the
following themes for the month.

June "Leave Nothing But Footprints" - Hiking

June 27 - Saturday - 9:30 a.m. 1/2 mile hike at the Ivan Boyd Nature
Preserve (N 500 Road/E 1750

Road) Meet at the Junior High parking lot to carpool as there
is limited parking at the trail. For more

information contact Lisa and Dale Hunkele.

July - "Fun in the Sun" - Wet and Wild Days

July 3-4 Bear Camp at Camp Naish

July 9 8:30 p.m. Leader Meeting at Scout Cabin - Annual Planning
Meeting (We should have school

         calendar by then)

July 11 Wet and Wild Days at pool and park

July 19-21 Webelos Camp a Camp Naish

August - "Be a Sport" - Camping on the field after a T-Bones game and a Pack
bowling party.

August 7 - T-Bones game and camping on the field after the game

August 13 8:30 p.m. Leader Meeting at Scout Cabin - Prepare for School
Night Recruitment and Bowling

         party.

August 27 (tentative) School Night Recruitment

August 29 or 30 Pack Bowling Party with new Cub Scouts

We did have 7 boys attend Day Camp. They all thought it was super fun. I bet
they will all do it again next year.

Well, so long for now. I have a bus to catch.
