Subject: Cub Scout Astronomy Belt Loop







First of all, thank to all of you for rsvp'ing for this Friday's Astronomy Belt Loop event.  Just a few logistics to pass along.
 
This Friday evening is a home KU basketball game, so parking is going to be an issue, especially on the south side of campus. Carpooling would be helpful.  If drivers can drop people off in front of Wescoe Hall and then park their cars, that would be helpful as well.
 
This is a rain or shine event.  The indoor portion of the event, which is the part where the scouts actually earn their belt loop, will take place regardless of the weather outside.  In the event of inclement weather the outdoor telescope observing portion of the event will be rescheduled for Sunday evening, November 22, at Prairie Park Nature Center.  More info on that to follow if necessary.
 
Please bring a pen or pencil along with you.
