[scouts] Recharter Fee is due

Actually, that deadline needs to be 1 December, so that I have time to complete the stack of paperwork needed in order for our troop to be rechartered on time.  Donna Curran has the form on which to record each scout's, and each adult scouter's, payment.  She will turn that over to me not later than 1 December.

This is an onorous task that rears its ugly head once a year.  I've been doing the paperwork for more years than most of the boys and adults haver been in the troop, so I know how long it takes me to complete everything and turn it in to the 
council in KC on time.  So please help Nanette and Donna get the intentions and money for each boy and adult that wishes to continue in the troop, by turning in your money in advance of 1 December.

Scouts, parents and leaders,

It is time to "recharter" all scouts and leaders.  If you or your scout plan to continue with the troop next year, please pay Donna Curran the $20 fee before December 8.  If you want the fee to be taken out of your existing personal scout account, please inform her.

Do not reply to this email.  Instead, please contact Donna directly at 594-2381 or donnagcurran at yahoo.com to take care of your fee.  I assume that you may drop off your fee at the scout cabin on troop nights as well, as long as it is given to a scout leader.
