[scouts] Request to decorate city Christmas Tree

Scout parents,
We have been asked to decorate the Baldwin City Christmas Tree that is placed every year between the Lumberyard Arts Center and the Post Office.  Below is the request from a member of the Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce.  Please check your calendar for November 15 and discuss with your scout whether you could be available to help with this project.  I was told that the scouts will discuss this project at Monday's meeting and need to know if enough can participate.  FYI - my family helped the Garber's (Three Sisters Inn) with this project last year, and it only took a couple of hours to complete.

The Baldwin City Chamber will supply the decorations
 
Your group would supply the kids and adults to decorate.  We thought it would be a great way for your group to earn community service badges. 
 
The decoration date is Saturday, November 15, 2008.
