Dear Folks -

Here's what's coming up in February. Not all of the details are set, but the dates are.

Feb. 8 is Scout Sunday. The troop plans on attending an area church. Last year we attended Lighthouse Baptist, but this year's has not been decided. As soon as I know, I'll send out the details.

The Klondike Derby camp out has been moved from Feb 13, 14, and 15 to Feb 27, 28, and March 1. The location for this event will be Camp Naish. The Derby is a competition in which patrols from our troop will compete with other troops in using scout skills and solving different problems. The patrol travels to each of these activities over camp trails by sled (on wheels if there's no snow) until all are done. Awards are given to the patrols who have the best scores in each activity. The troop will hold a Court of Honor on Sunday evening of Feb. 22. Please plan on attending!
