Dear Scouts and Parents -

Things are going to be very busy in the next few weeks, so I am going to send out announcements one at a time, rather than trying to compile a long list. 

The first event is this Friday and Saturday.

At noon this Friday (March 20), we will be having a lock-in Game Night at the cabin. The boys can bring their favorite games to play. They will need to bring $5.00 for a pizza dinner. Breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning.

At 8:00 AM (following breakfast) the troop will be distributing the bags for Scouting for Food. EVERYONE, please attend this event, even if you did not attend the game night. We need as many people as possible, because it makes this very important event so much easier to do. 

We will be picking up the food the following Saturday (March 28) (starting at 8:00). Proceeds are going to the First United Methodist Food pantry, which lately has struggled to keep anything on the shelf. There are a lot of folks in need, and we are getting close to Easter.  Folks in our community have lost jobs and many of the luxuries we enjoy. Let's make this a record-setting collection!
