ALL PELATHE SCOUTS AND SCOUTERS - Please give this distribution to all Scouts in your units!
Hurry!  The deadline to register for a chance to win FREE SUMMER CAMP and other prizes is December 31, 2009.  Five HOAC Scouts will attend summer camp FREE in 2010, and five others will win $100 credits at the KC Scout shop.  It could be one of your Scouts - but only if they register by the deadline.  Right now, fewer than 300 Scouts have taken the time to enter their data, so your Scout's chance of winning one of these great prizes is really quite good!  Encourage all of your Scouts to enter.   For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has created a strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America's youth.  Through A Year of Celebration, A Century of Making a Difference, we will demonstrate the incredible impact of a century of living the Scout Law.

Program participants will earn recognition for making a difference in our community due to their dedication to five of Scouting's core values: Leadership, Character, Community Service, Achievement, and the Outdoors.  Participants will be able to earn a 100th Anniversary commemorative patch.

A Year of Celebration will take place from September 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010.  The program is open to all Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Scouting Alumni.  We hope you will join us in this celebration!
